Paris, the mile-high city!

Genna chose a quaint, boutique hotel on the Champs Elysees, the perfect place to cram all our junk, stray animals and JoBu's plush "SkyKennel Ultra." Like the rest of the world already said, the food in Paris is insanely good, particularly camembert au roti (a small wheel of cheese cooked in the oven a.k.a. the Parisien version of queso but thicker, better and eaten with a baguette). Genna pointed out that it's no longer "french onion soup," just "onion soup."

Yes in fact, Paris and the neoclassical architecture of the Napoleonic era is everything it is cracked up to be on NatGeo. The Arc de Triomphe is much more imposing in reality than in pictures, especially at night. I wanted to be the first person to ever "Tebow" in front of it but out of respect for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier who lies beneath the Arc, I changed my mind. The size of the monument portrays the reverence the French people had for their military. By looking at a map you can see how many countries Napoleon conquered and although it is cliché, I really think the Arc de Triomphe does just as much to show how formidable an opponent the Grande Armée was in the beginning of the 19th century.

Somewhere in France.

JoBu checking out the Sephora Store (makeup) on the Champs Elysees. Quick calculation on the nerd phone reveals that per ounce, their eye liner is more expensive than the current price of gold.

Night out with JoJo on the Champs Elysees.
