"All the aircraft are going into phase maintenance early so you won't be flying next week and I saw you have a lot of leave on the books so why don't you not come into work. Tomorrow is a day off also, so I guess your vacation started 45 minutes ago."

During the last few days of vacation I was thinking how nice it was going to be back "home" in France. I immediately realized what I was thinking and an incredibly odd feeling, which I am not so sure I liked, came over me. When the time comes to return to the states, I think I will come back 3 or 4 times more America than ever before.
